Very tranquil & noticeably quiet. The stars are brighter at night! You won't believe how many stars are in the sky!
You'll enjoy peaceful and slow days. Take a long walk on the 60 acres of meadows, pine trees, aspen trees. Drive to the river to spend time fishing a gold medal trout stream or river rafting. Hike or ride your mountain bikes or ATVs on nearby public property. Many fun activities within an hour's drive. In the cabin you'll enjoy a modern kitchen with all the items you need to prepare a meal, or BBQ on the deck. No microwave can be used due to the "off-grid", solar nature of the property. Enjoy the view of our valley from the deck as you sit and breath in nature and enjoy a glass of wine! Your cell phone won't interrupt because there is no cell service, but there is a land-line phone and internet. Tuck into the cozy cabin at night and watch a movie on Dish TV, with a cup of hot coco or tea!

Summary: This was the second time we stayed at this wonderful cabin. What can I add to my first 5-star review from the last summer? We were back, and we would be back again and again as long as this property is available.This place is PERFECT. The cabin is impeccable. It has EVERYTHING and more, including things we don't have in our own home. This was obviously very carefully thought out by the owners. The surroundings are idyllic. For anyone who likes seclusion, like us, this is paradise. In 4 days, we saw one car driving on the road, and the road isn't too close either. All you see is the meadow in front of the property, the forest, the mountains - so blissful. The starry sky, if you are blessed with good weather like we were - unbelievable. The communication with the owner - ideal.You would be really hard pressed to find anything that comes close to this property for your vacation!
